Maybe this could bring about debate for the next few weeks about the sensitive parts that Bill Clinton, Madeline Allbright, and Sandy Berger were concerned about, and a discussion of the papers that Berger stole from the National Archives.

Don't forget, too, that the religious right tried to get the DOCUMENTARY pulled because the firefighters used some off-color language, and are still determined to protest to the FCC.

It's over! I can't believe they aired "The Path to 9/11". This exposure of our failures in the 90's before millions of viewers will leave us with scars for millenniums to come. I went through two bottles of Vodka and played Russian roulette for three hours agonizing over scene after scene while these capitalist traitorous pigs, at ABC played their propaganda.

We the people, of the United Liberal Socialist Democratic Party, whom are and shall always be you're loyal comrades in arms, ask that you please have the FCC revoke the license of the traitors to our cause against the ABC Corporation. These liars, at ABC plan to air part two tomorrow night (check your local listings for time and channels) for an additional three hours.

Need we remind you Senator Reid; we the Liberal Socialist Democratic Party put you in this position of power. We'll not allow these capitalist traitorous pigs at ABC to destroy years of hard work by our party professors and scholars within our Liberal controlled academia. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars our fellow comrades have invested in nurturing and indoctrinating their impressionable youth.

I'm used (here in the UK) to outrage and demands for banning orders from the right wing christian militia. Calls for openness and debate come from the centre and the left. I've been appalled by some of the language and hysteria in Huff Po over the last few days where I - foolishly - expected debate.

The above is a catty nasty little review which has little to do with the programme I saw. Although I agree - the real heros of the day were ABC news(men). Pissed me off too.

We had a politically liberal friend over to watch with us (the Mrs. and I are conservative). He was well aware of the controversy - and he came to the same conclusions as we did (see first paragraph above).

My favorite: a poised, well-dressed Bev Hills middle-ager that was "astonished at how ABC could, with it's free airwave usage, tell so many lies about the Clinton administration, (here is the best part) especially just before the Democrats take back the House". I wonder if she has an exact lie count, or is just estimating?

So, the Dems are only really concerned about "the Path to 9/11" being shown at all because they were planning on the motto "let's go back to the terrorist containment success of the Clinton years" to persuade people to vote a change.

I wonder if someone can get me that interviewee's number. I would like to give her a reality call:" Hello Sweetheart. Usama BL and Co. and the firm of Islamofascism LLC won't spare you and your family just because you quote the latest faxed Demo talking points. Unless it is to first rape you, THEN they will happily kill you. Best of luck with your search for a set of Democratic politicians that can figure out how to keep that from happening at the same time that they are looking for their moral backbones.

Bonus: had 60 Minutes on just before. Andy Rooney wants us to spend a little time figuring out how we can make other nations stop being so mad and wanting to kill us.

If I was truly hoping to help the Democratic Party, I would recommend that they just shut up about it and let it die down quickly. Beside, aren't the Democrats always the ones that pander with the phrase: "I believe in the intelligence of the American people?" Guess this brouhaha proves that they really don't believe it. Guess they just blew their cover on that one!

Everyone, Dems and Republicans screwed the pooch on the lead up to 9/11. We all knew that. Trouble is, the Republicans started fighting on 9/12. The Democrats didn't start fighting until this film.
